Re: Which PPSh ought I to purchase?

if a piece of the connector started melting, you need new connectors. don't use tamiyas again though. get some deans or something nice like that. you also may have motor height issues which would have caused the extra drain on the battery. if the motor is placed too high into the sector gear that wi...

Re: Thread of random content and happiness

Here comes the emotional rant about guns being death rays...  well they are dangerous when used improperly... a fact which is well know by all Law abiding citizens, who generally use them only in a propper manner. I personally can't wait until my US Gov class gets to a gun control debat...

Re: Thread of random discontent

elected officials should not be funding political interest groups, especially in areas that they don't represent. it is basically paying people to have an opinion on an issue, so that you can support that issue, and then they will support you. and if you do that outside of your constituency, you mig...

Re: Proper hob up bucking install

don't lubricate the inside the bucking. it will change the coefficient of friction between the bb's and nub.

to make it more airtight I like to tie a few winds of dental floss around the front of the bucking over the barrel.

Re: Thread of Random Thoughts

well its a lot better than investing in equipment to spy on our own citizens and to torture them, or being the world's police force (I understand the aid relief that the navy does and stuff like retaliating after 9/11, but Iraq and Vietnam and Korea and the cold war were stupid and Afghanistan is be...

Re: flat hop/ rhop vsr10

I've heard that 410 - 480 mm is the most accurate for snipers because bb's get the tendancy to bounce around in longer barrels, but I've never experimented with it myself. I use AEG's myself and common practice is a 455mm barrel, but for different reasons. and being an aeg person I won't try to reco...

Re: Gear priority help

^^^^ very good advice for the stability and safety for the boots.
as for the water I'd go so far as to put the hydropack above the helmet, I've been dehydrated while playing and it is not good.
