Re: Thread of random content and happiness

I'll be managing the American Division of an Asian Production / Broadcasting Company. It'll be quite a different atmosphere compared to what I'm used to. There will be lots of ladies though! (Don't tell my fiance) =D

Re: Thread of random content and happiness

Tomorrow will be my last day with ASGI. I'm currently moving onto bigger and better things. Airsoft GI Bill will be taking my place. I'm glad we (for the most part) got that spambot issued solved. I will be checking out these forums on occasion checking out what sort of shenanigans everyone is up to.

Re: What knee pads are right for me?

I've never been happier than with the X-style knee pads. Hatch carries them under the name "Xtak."

Re: M4 - mags - duct tape (why?)

I used to use them in this configuration. They were somewhat helpful, but my favorite thing about it was that it didn't add much additional mass & volume to the magazine like the Magpul mag pulls do.

Re: cyma AKS-101 internal help

Overall, the AK hop up unit design is pretty good. If you want more range, and you're comfortable with taking apart the hop up, getting a flat hop bucking and nub would be good. Flat hop provides a more consistent backspin. You'll end up needing to use heavier BB's to make better use of the effectiv...

Re: VFC HK 416 CQB vs G&G SCAR-L CQC

Moving to an 11.1v Lipo will greatly increase trigger response and overall ROF, but at the cost of greatly increasing wear & tear on the gun. I personally would be sure to at least upgrade the piston before moving to an 11.1v.

Re: M4 - mags - duct tape (why?)

Supposed with GI issues magazines (STANAG), the duct tape helps to provide more traction when retrieve mags. The duct tape can also work in conjuction with paracord to make crude mag pull devices.

Re: G&G GR15 L

The stock G&G rail system is unfortunately not truly free float. It was designed to work in conjunction with the G&G mock gas block disc.

Re: UTG L96 upgrade halp

That would probably be best, although I have heard that 6.01mm may have accuracy issues due to the lack of "air cushion" around the bb.

Re: UTG L96 upgrade halp

I'm not 100% familiar with all the various spring sniper rifle upgrades out there, but I do know that you'll be basically looking for Maruzen APS2 parts for your UTG L96. Keep in mind, that 99% of AEG upgrades out there will not work for your UTG L96. Regarding the diameter of the barrel, I generall...
