Re: V2 Gearbox ROF Upgrades

Go with bearings, though solid bushings will provide longer service life - your call on that one Grab some high speed gears. Something along the lines of prometheus or element is what I prefer (though I lean on promy). You can grab a nice set on ASGI for $40, one comes with shims and the other comes...

Re: Navy SEALs vs. Spetsnaz(sorry if I spelled it wrong)

Actually, the spetsnaz win in the training category as far as "who is the most hardcore". They literally don't abide by any humane treatment laws or protective...fancy shmancy paper contracts. They literally beat you to unconsciousness, torture you for weeks, gas you, knock you around, wha...

(but before it gets back on track - be careful when you buy used guns. You are potentially buying that person's problems/issues with it..) Unless you get good enough of a deal where the problems are counteracted. My Sig's stock does not lock when folded, and the handguard pin was missing (fixed wit...

Not sure if somebody has mentioned it, but I'd say two TM hicapa Xtremes with extended mags...

Re: KJW M700

I'd skip the power bolt, it's unnecessary. The Tanaka short mags are much more consistent in their output, though the KJW mags have a better seal when filling with gas. I still need to know if your hop up chamber is silver or not. Pull the bolt back and check to see. And look to see if there's a sea...

Re: KJW M700

Tightbore doesn't make or break for the accuracy. You'll need an aftermarket VSR bucking, which is a drop in fit for KJW rifles (I think). Is your hopup chamber silver? Also, the hopup nub itself has a lot to do with the accuracy. And, like others have mentioned, your short mag will be very inconsis...

Re: Thoughts on putting a M190 spring in a BAR-10

Look into Noobie's M-Trigger for that... most will say a zero trig isn't too good past m170. It may have a harder trigger pull than the zero, but it's not gonna break. Buddy of mine has an m190 spring in his, and the trigger still snaps perfectly with each pull... Ace, you had fitting issues, was i...

Re: Thoughts on putting a M190 spring in a BAR-10

For a 190 spring you'd definitely want a teflon cylinder as it make cycling much smoother, and possibly a laylax bolt handle if you had the spare cash. Trust me, the bolt handle it much easier to grab and pull back than the stock one. I use .4's in mine, the Madbull ones specifically. Only one jam ...

Re: Budget sniper.

No no no no no! Don't wrap anything around your cylinder head! The teflon tape should only go around the THREADS of the cylinder head. It's useless to put it on your cylinder head, and it will gunk up/come off inside your hopup. It's good for one MAYBE two shots and that's all.
