Re: Is this true multicam?

The dark brown and creme splotches don't look quite right... Where did you get these? Do you know what brand they are?

Did anyone else get a call from ASGI?

Got a call today from ASGI just doing a quick survey on customer satisfaction. It was odd, because they called me twice about it. During the second call, the guy on the other end hinted at some kind of new rewards program..? Does anyone know anything about that?

That is EXACTLY why I don't use Rainmeter or have any unnecessary junk on my desktop. Because I never see it! I do like having a nice background, but other than that it's pretty much empty.

Re: combat machine vs ics sportline

CMs definitely have a stronger body than ICS sporties. My brother's stock completely fell off after the lower receiver cracked and broke right behind the pistol grip.

Combat Machines have a spring release on the forward assist (on the blowback one at least). G&G also has a really good bucking so I would expect better range.

But not on the non-blowback.

Re: combat machine vs ics sportline

You can take apart an ICS a lot easier than other guns, and it has a really handy ARL release on the forward assist. The internals are pretty good, although the piston is weak (I've seen it break on less then 10k rounds on more then one gun with M110 springs). But repairing/upgrading is easier. It i...

Eh. I'll probably get a new battery soon enough. Is Tenergy any good?

Re: piston big tooth keeps breaking off.

ICS pistons are just weak to begin with. Dunno why the SHS might of failed though. It might have just been a bad one maybe?

Re: ICS, KWA, or VFC?

it makes it a PITA to correct AOE. WHY do I keep seeing this everywhere... I had an ICS and AOE was super easy... What are you guys doing? The split gearbox just makes it difficult to do unless you clamp the 2 gearbox pieces together somewhere... Unless you're doing it a different way? If so, pleas...

What kind of battery do you use?

Was wondering what batteries the ASGIF community uses or prefers, and their opinions on them. I'm currently using an Intellect 2000mAh 9.6v battery with AA cells, and it sucks. I've had two now (one was a friend's that I thought he over chared, so I bought a new one), and they hold their charge well...
