P90 Feeding Problem

Postby NorthernHurricane7 » Sat Jul 21, 2012 1:54 pm

I am having problems getting a P90 to to feed. It's shooting 20 RPS on a 9.6, 28 on a 11.1. It won't even feed on the 9.6 though. I put a sector chip delayer in, and that didn't do anything. I've heard P90 mags are horrid at feeding at a higher ROF, so should I just stretch the spring out in the mag? Any other suggestions?

Three Questions:
What company made your P90?
What brand of magazine are you using?
What type of magazine are you using (midcap or highcap)?.
ARMORY
Agile AL-3100
Marshall JCM-2000 + Marshall JCM Cab
JG M733 Enhanced
VFC M4 (not sure which one it started out as)

If you're using a hi-cap, ditch it and get some mid-caps.

P90 hi-caps are terrible.

I stretched the spring on the mag (a midcap) and put a piece of plastic on the front of the spring because it was coming out of the loading/BB passage hole. It works way better now and feeds way better. I also took a dremel to the front of the air nozzle and shaved it down a tiny bit. I think this helped the feeding issue too. So for now, it works fine. If the owner gets an 11.1 there will probably have to be a little more work done on it, but as long as it works, hey, it works.

EDIT: Apparently the hop up unit wasn't situated quite right and now it feeds really well on mids and just ok on a P90 box mag.

I am using the M4 mag conversion with an Angel custom hop up, and I am having feeding problems too. I installed a huge sector gear, and modified the air nozzle, but that did not fix it. Please help!
