Echo1 ak700?

Postby Krysisbane » Tue Dec 02, 2014 4:13 pm

Howdy y'all. In the coming weeks, i will be purchasing an echo1 ak700. It will be my first "good quality" aeg. It will be used primarily outback just messing around. I may eventually hit the fields or some cqb if i can find players in my area. My question is.. What upgrades do you guys recommend? Im sure the first answer will be a TBB.. But other than that.. What are your thoughts? Thanks.

Actually no, not a TBB. Given that it's a CYMA rebranded by E1, you might want to replace the hopup bucking. Madbull blue buckings aren't terrible but buying a better one(G&G green, systema, prommy, etc) will definitely give you much better accuracy. As for the gearbox CYMA is pretty solid for a clone, just reshim, regrease, correct AOE, and that thing will last for a long time. Maybe a new air nozzle, as I recall mine not having an O ring

In my opinion, endurance is a lot more important than performance. Get a ton of midcap magazines, an electronic speedloader, a few more batteries, and buy loads of bbs.

I would not recommend getting a tightbore barrel. The bore has far less to do with accuracy than your airseal and hop-up.

Im actually needing to replace the spring so i can shoot under 350 for my field. I have an m95 on the way, but no idea how to replace it... -.- gun is firing fantastically so far. 12 rps with a 9.6 isnt super, but its fun as all... Two mid caps, four high caps, and 1 1k rd super high is making my ammo bags drastically scarce...
