Thompson mag DIY

Postby Quartz » Thu Feb 26, 2015 12:46 pm

Hello folks, I recently acquired a King Arms Thompson (1928 pattern) and I decided to see what replacement mags ran for, and was thoroughly disappointed at the lack of stock at most airsoft stores. So I decided that if I cannot find the mags anywhere, I will take the challenge upon myself to build some. So, I require detail pics of the mid-cap mags for the CYMA or King Arms Thompson, which I will use to make a DIY blueprint of the mags.

They have this weird spine on the back that locks into the receiver, might be kinda difficult

I suspected that the the tab for the mag well on the stick mags follow the length of the mag, actually that makes my job a tad easier on the rear seam methinks.
