Yeeeeaaahhhno.

9x19mm and .45 ACP are pistol rounds, meant for shooting people up close. It's not going to make much of a difference if there's a 9mm slug or a .45 slug in your heart, you'll die from either one.

Just adding my thanks to the pile. I do believe that everyone involved in that debate was just thoroughly schooled.

Thanks for quoting me too. :)

Well with those rounds, you could be engaging targets several hundred meters away. Up close, it's not going to make much of a difference.

7.72x51mm is more of a long gun round... Longer cartridge more powder if you would like etc. I don't think real steel should be discussed on an airsoft board though.. To many airsofter's think they know so much about real guns.. In truth you really have to fire them and use them. Stats are stats, but never reflect a gun when you are the operator.

So you're saying that if I shot you in the heard with a 9mm you wouldn't die, but if I shot you with a .45 you would?

i was referring to his statement that they're the same up close. obviously a shot to the heart from either would be a kill shot, i apologize for not being clear.

The only thing that 9mm beats .45 in is magazine capacity, but there are some handguns that can hold alot of .45s in its mag. Glocks and Springfield XDs are some examples (both hold 13+1). In the end, getting shot is getting shot. 9mm is plenty lethal, but .45 can do the job a bit better. (The person behind the weapon is a huge part of it too. It doesn't matter what weapon you have if you can't hit anything with it.)

7.62 vs. 5.56 :? ... There is nothing to say. Bishop pretty much nailed it. Great job man. :)
