From what I can see, you have a very uneven grind line, and it looks like you didn't start with a real idea of what you wanted the ricasso to look like, if you were looking to make a little place to grip above the nub that I see as a half attempted effort at a guard(it probably would work as a guard with a thinner handle, like say slabs on either side), it would fail in that respect as the angle there would just let your fingers slip up to the blade. Mainly from what I can tell it needs to be beveled in much more, to about the middle line of the blade, this will give you lighter weight and better cutting ability, what you have now looks like a long wedge that would have to push a lot of material out of the way to cut anything. You can go for a double bevel and have the main bevel coming back to the center or further, and then do something like a 30 degree angle from the center for the cutting edge if you just wanted, just about a millimeter or 2 wide otherwise you lose the benefit of reducing the amount of material around the cutting edge. Also is this just a mild steel block ground down, or did you do a heat treat on it?
Other than that you've made a knife, which is more than I have done in my 2 years of R&D on knifemaking techniques and composite fabrication.
Feel free to message me if you need assistance with a WE-scar, gbb maintenance, or any maintenance for that mater, I'm around and checking.
