They are an incredible value for their price. I am amazed at how well it performs. I have the serrated one, and have had it for years. I take it with me when I go camping, hunting, fishing, etc. It goes in my B.O.B. I am not knocking the K-bar it is a tried and true knife, but I wanted a smaller/lighter survival knife, and the Glock one fits the bill for me perfectly. Well balanced and very nice steel. The sheath and handle are made out of the same polymer as the firearms. As a piece of trivia, I seem to recall that Glock started by manufacturing entrenching tools and survival/combat knives before getting into firearms.
