While that's true as well, I was more referring to the 8 year olds in the back-yards who make airsoft look like it's all kids running around with clear spring pistols shooting each other.
xXAlphaDogXx wrote:That's the common person thought. (in my opinion) I've never heard of a parent filing a lawsuit because there kid got hurt. (getting there eye shot out is out of question because I would to file a lawsuit too)
I never said it was the parents suing, I never even said anyone was getting sued, I said that injuries result in the intervention of law-enforcement, which I will admit was poorly-phrased, so I'll clarify; if you cause serious injury with an airsoft gun, you're in trouble, an airsoft gun is technically classified as a firearm, and all injuries from firearms must be reported to the police by the hospital.
xXAlphaDogXx wrote:and if you think you can get me at " 500fps breaks google lenses" then shove it up your a** because that's bs.
No Sh*t Sherlock, I'm a sniper, my rifle fires at 510fps, and I know how strong Z87+S glasses are, I've seen them stop nail-guns, airsoft guns are not the most powerful thing they've withstood. I guess it sure is a good thing that people wear them all over themselves when they play too, right? Yeah, there's no part of the body that can be damaged when you're wearing goggles!!!!
xXAlphaDogXx wrote:It may crack it or dent the lens but deffinately not just go through it like a bullet. A couple of shots would indeed go through and if your really that dumb not to inform a ref about what happened to your lens and to test every players fps then you should shoot your eye out yourself. It's common sense.
I think that it's a good time to mention that glasses cover a VERY small part of your body, and you make it sound like they are the only place you get shot. See, but this is EXACTLY my point, a couple shots (more than a couple actually) would go through, so I would like to point out:
13 rounds could do it, no? It's not even your velocity that concerns me so much as your maturity, and by that I mean you don't sound like the kind of kid who knows what an MED is, knows how to estimate them, is capable of obeying them, and might not obey them even if he could.xXAlphaDogXx wrote:my G&G G4 DMR (which is now pieces) was** shooting 445-460fps and 26 rps.
See, I view you as a LIABILITY, and here's a few things you've said that enforce this feeling:
xXAlphaDogXx wrote:The way I play doesnt concern these people. I don't know why they get all mad when they live 1000 miles away.
xXAlphaDogXx wrote:If they don't like the way I play then join my side. simple as that.
That's not how it works, if I don't like the way you play, then I don't want to be on your team, I'd rather be on the other team, with guys who I know and trust, and if ANY of the guys I play with saw you break your MED, they would HAPPILY light you up, because airsoft guns are WEAPONS, and they are DANGEROUS, and all it takes is one moron to ruin it for everyone.
xXAlphaDogXx wrote:Yea I really want the little children to scream at Jericho and hollywood sports. They need to know what 470+ fps feels like!
xXAlphaDogXx wrote:Oh and if your all soooo mad why not bash ASGI about the G98 or G700. They shoot OVER 550fps. That will hurt.
They're also BOLT ACTIONS, and we can't influence the people who buy those, there are plenty of guns that shoot hot OTB, but we can't do anything about it, but we can try to convince people like you that velocities that high are dangerous.
xXAlphaDogXx wrote:I feel more "better" about putting in a M150 instead of an M140. Thanks for changing my mind
Now, I know that you're going to find this eventually so I'll just post it here:
Yes, I do have a sniper that fires 510fps as I said above, but the difference is, I know my MED, and I WILL NOT shoot inside of it, I also only take body and limb shots, nothing to the head or face. Ever. If you don't believe me ask the guys here, I've said before that I don't go for head-shots, and I'll say it again.
I also own a CA that fires around 440fps, but again, I know my MED, I will not break it, and for the safety of the guys I play with, and a little bit for my cracked gearbox, I only fire semi, and I don't rapid-fire, because I don't want to hurt them, we all know to call hit when we get hit, and that's all there is to it.
Feel free to respond.
