the problem with that is that it's behavior like yours that will ruin the sport
Airsoft is based on trust. If you're playing airsoft for real, then you don't need to worry about people not calling their hits.
When kids start getting hurt, when people start getting in trouble because they are like you and "want the little children to scream" the sport will be gone. the general public will go nuts about it because the media will play it as usual, spin it so that people intentionally get scared. Once people are scared they panic, and airsoft will go the way it has gone in Japan or Europe, FPS regulations, sometimes even outright banned.
Yes, I own two 550+ FPS rifles, one Tanaka shooting wherever I want it, 650+ down to 350, and a VSR shooting 545 FPS consistently. The difference is, I know what 100' (My MED) looks like, and I obey it, if it's questionable, I'll back up a ways and take the shot. My field has two parts, one the main field where my MED is 100', and the other is the "kill house" where my MED is 20', I was trapped in the upstairs of the kill house on my last game, the only guy left, heard the entry team enter the bottom floor and surrendered rather than shooting them at what would have been 15'. You might say close enough, 5' doesn't make a difference, but to me, a MED is a MED and you don't break it. The closest I've been to breaking my MED, I thought I was about 102' out, but the guy who owns the field was standing there, and he didn't say anything about my MED not even, you're getting a little close to your MED bud, as he is likely to do. Also, the only time I EVER aim for the head is when it's the only thing showing. Otherwise, center mass is the way to go.
We have too many scum like you who are going to ruin the sport for everyone. If Airsoft goes the way it is currently going in which FPS ---> god then the sport will be lost. Too many new players are being given the message that if they have a 500+FPS gun they will win, no matter how bad their tactics are, and because they are entitled to winning because they have a 500 FPS rifle, they will not call their hits because, of course, they have a 500 FPS rifle, so they have to win, and if they're hit they can't win, therefore they're never hit.
You are taking this whole thing the wrong way, we aren't ragging on you exactly, we are ragging on your kind, the FPS ---> god people because they are going to be the downfall of our game. I've probably put more money into one gun than you have into two or three of yours, all to make it shoot harder, farther, and more consistently, but I love this sport and see what effects my actions can have if I am not consistent with the rules.
