 I am pushing the $1k mark with my DMR project but I am really close to being done. That gun also costs about as much as all my other airsoft stuff combined.

That is crazy. How many guns do you have? What is the most you have spent on a gun (upgrades included)?

I would say that person is trolling/lying.
I will need to see pictures, tax receipts, a birth certificate, proof of purchases', place of employment proof and a drivers license.

And if it is true, that kid needs to get his priorities straight.

IM asking this because im trying to get myself into this situation but i dont care for a house or car really because im 16-going 17 and theres not much of a point to spend on these things when im living with my parents who already have a car ready for me to drive.I am gonna work for my own money. Im choosing to do this because if i do this now i dont have to worry about having to pay bills, or worry about food and other things. And then i will continue to work through my junior and senior year of highschool. TO save for college. So now i ask what do say to this? :?: :?:

I still think you need to get your priorities straight, and that you may need to get medication for an addiction.

$25,000 is a lot of money to waste on airsoft....its fun, but it isnt THAT fun. In my five years of airsofting, in an estimate total, I've probably spent $6,000 on airsoft. With the selling of everything, except one replica and its accessories, uniforms and other necessities, I have about $2,000 in all in my current loads.

I mean, its great your parents are helping you by giving you a car, paying for gas, paying taxes, paying insurance, not making you pay rent or your share of the grocery bill...probably got your collage covered as well... But thinking you are going to spend that much on airsoft is kind of outrageous.....got people dying around the world of starvation, and you are thinking about wasting tens of thousands of dollars on airsoft.

There is a thing called financial responsibility....look it up.

You asked...

You're PLANNING to spend $25,000? Jesus, I can't even think of that much stuff that I want. I mean, a mantis right hook, RS SVD, and VFC M16 wouldn't even put me at $4000...
I've only got $1,600 into airsoft, and I'm about to sell almost all of it for a $500 gun.

The fact that you'd spend that much on airsoft, while your parents spend double that every year you go to college is ridiculous.
