Ok, youve told us what youre going to do with your fortune.....where is your future place of employment?

I want to see a pay stub of a normal 40hr work week with no over-time.

My first job at 16 was working minimum wage at a movie theatre for about $8,000 year. My plan was to save as much as possible to get a car. I saved $5,000...and the only hobbies I had was girls, weight lifting, skateboarding, video games and food.

Tell me where you live, so I can move my family there and get a great job....if you and your young friends can make $25,000-$40,000 a year....I can only imagine what I could make....

There is no need for negative behavior on the forums, or anywhere at all actually. It doesn't matter how ignorant, how much of an ass, how lacking sanity, or how being different somebody is, you always treat them with respect. I know there's not a lot of respect to be shown on the internet, but atleast try to be as civil as possible. I've been nice to this guy for a reason, because I'm trying to help him. Obviously he doesn't want my help, but I'm not going to shun him because of that.

I'm sorry, Tactical, but come on. There are people living out there with nothing but a piece of burlap for clothing. I know that that's not your fault, but come on. $10 could help them, but you want to spend effin' 2500x that on worthless toy guns...

43,600,000 people make $10,000 a year or less.
Your (highschool, I assume) friends make $40,000 a year? I call BS, those numbers are being exaggerated by one, if not both, of the people saying it. Sorry, but I'm giving you EVERY benefit of the doubt here, assuming that these kids are working 45 hour weeks in the summer, and working from 3-11 every school day, they'd have to be making over $13 an hour.

lool I admit my friend was a lie ahah i did exaggerate more than i couldve but im not sure but shes already assistant manager at best buy and been working there month and a half so im not sure? BUt my parents is no where near exaggerated thats just pretty much rounded so yes probably like 500-600 less per year. my dad is around 70,000 to 80,000 a year depending on how many pick ups, tow aways he does, my mom on the other hand gets around $30 an hour and there really high up there. Also may i remind you that both of my parents have 0 years of college education. Also were parents with me at the age of 17. Im pretty sure thats irrelevant aha

What does not having a college degree have to do with this? That's a different argument entirely.

Seriously. Where do you think you're going to score $10+ an hour as a sophomore?

$10 an hr is soon to be the new minimum wage... and because having no college education affects your pay and what kinds of jobs one gets into

Not in the olden days; when your parents started working.

Federal minimum wage hasn't changed since 1997, sounds like a long-shot.
