If this forum had the discipline that ASR forums had, 3/4 of the members would be banned by now...
I this isn't ASR and it is ASGI but I am just saying this because it makes a point that more than half of the members don't have good forum discipline.

More than half of the members on this forum doesn't have good discipline or more than half in any forum?

I don't know....I already know a few of the members on this forum have gone off to other forums, calling me a nazi for the way I've been running this forum (pretty sure you guys know who you are). So....if I was to be any more stringent, would that help or hurt the forum?

Personally, IMO it would help. But Some people are too sensitive to understand. Rules exist for a reason. I am just stating my opinion when I say this but A good airsoft community is based off a good set of rules being enforced.

NOTE: community means forum.

All that sounds good, but I'm so confused on "double posting." :? I thought "double posting" was when I posted two separate posts in a row? So I started putting multiple quotes and replies to each of the quotes on a single post and cat61986 said I was "double posting." I can't find the forum rules, so I found this thread instead. I don't usually use forums so that's why I don't know what "double posting" is. I'm not saying anyone wrongly accused me, I just want to know how to abide by the rules.

Double posting: When you make a post, and the post right after that one is yours as well.

Or, making two topics of the same exact thing.

But if I make a remark about double posting, it's typically where one makes posts that are directly after each other. The delete and edit buttons are needed to correct those issues. That way, you can delete your second post and edit (copy and pasting the text from the second post into the first post).

An example of a double post would be something like this...

Person A: Hello person B
Person B: Hello, how are you
Person A: I'm fine
Person A: You?

Person A just double posted. Of course, assuming that they're full posts and not simple chat room chatter

personally i have found that a forum without rules is not fun(not going to mention any names). on those types of forums people only really put each other down. i like this forum much much better than the last one i was a part of.

oh and that wasn't a airsoft forum.
thanks for being good nice admins(unlike some other admins i know).
