Hey guys,
I've had my vsr about a year now and I'm having some problems. I have 2 sear sets for my gun both upgraded, and I'm running an m170 spring with other stuff that I'll list below. So I'll rack the bolt for about 10 or 15 shots or sometimes even A couple mags, and then all of a sudden it will just start slam firing. I know its not the sears because I put a brand new set of shs sears I. And it did the same thing. Could it be my receiver wearing out? Also when I rack the bolt, it is extremely easy to push it back forward. If I point the gun trawrds the ground the bolt will fall right back in. I know its supposed to be easy to do it but I don't think it should be that easy. Do you think a Pdi received could fix this?
Here are the upgrades I have:
Shs and asgi pe sear set
Pe spring guide
Lay lax 170 spring
Pe piston w/new o ring
Custom tapered cylinder head with Teflon tape
Stock hop up
Danger werx type a arm shimmed
A+ bucking with Teflon tape
Masamune 6.01 (getting the pdi raven 6.01 soon)
Barrel spacers
Also what kinda range should I be getting with the set up. Note: I use .4 and .43 gram bbs. I made the hop arm into the type b kind because of the v shape in the bucking
