If it has a battery and a gearbox, this is where it belongs

G4-A1 Flash Hider removal issue

Postby abite » Thu Feb 19, 2015 12:27 pm

I just got a G4-A1 with the Noveske 11" Keymod Rail and I'm loving it... except for one thing, I can't get the **** flash hider off... First I tried with my hand, then a towel and hand, then some pliers, and then a monkey wrench... applying a significant amount of force with no luck. The barrel extension didn't even come loose. And yes, I know they are counter-threaded, so right loosey, lefty tighty haha. I'd like to have it off for a match this weekend, but the **** thing won't budge... any help? And just to confirm, I am twisting the top of the flash hider to the side opposite of the dust cover. I'm frustrated!!! :? :x

The flash hider has a small hex head screw in it that holds it tightly against the threads.
