CD, the .223 (5.56 NATO) has a much better range than the 5.7x28mm and much more energy... People complain about the 5.56 being too "weak" but you wanna go even lower? ;)

I never said that I wanted to go lower, I just said that it beats most other guns' capacities

Considering it is roughly half the size of a the 5.56 rifle round, I would imagine its obvious the p90 has a larger capacity. especially with the size of those mags.

I would love a p90 if i could get those mag clamps that hold the second one over the cheekrest(can't think what to cal it) then I would do a wing that goes up and over it, and the mags rotated out of the gun, instead of pulling up. then you would have to use raised sights and optics like M16s and m4 do.

It is not a pistol cartridge, it is a hybird cartridge made to replace SMGs as low-recoil, compact guns, but with armor-piercing abilities...

I can't seem to find much on it being hybrid, all my searching brings up some video game stuff. Still, my point stands, the round is almost half the size of the 5.56 round

Look at the cartridge... It's more of a rifle round than a pistol round... But yes, you are right, a .223 has more stopping power. If you're calling it a pistol cartridge just because the 5-7 is chambered in it, than I guess the 5.56 is a pistol cartridge b/c Kel-Tec has a pistol chambered in .223... :P

And because the definition of the SMG is an automatic carbine designed to fire pistol ammo. Since the P90 and 5.7 were designed for this round, it seemed to make since that it should be a pistol round. but I guess since the law states anything under whatever length it is, is a pistol, most any gun can be made into a pistol with a short enough barrel and little to no stock, and with that comes any round they use.
Dang technicalities, I will never consider an Ak a pistol.

Nah, a pistol w/o a stock is illegal without the $200 tax stamp for a Class III gun. And the P90 is not classified as a SMG except in games, it is a personal defence weapon, just like the MP7, they don't fire pistol rounds.
