Custom Painted Guns

Postby Paint It Black » Mon Jan 19, 2009 1:57 pm

I got one of my airsoft friends to paint my sniper a desert pattern and I really like the way it turned out. Heres the vid of the preping and of the final product.

With primer... (link)

Painted...

I'm ironing out (not literally) the little blemishes here and there, and I have to scrape off a bit to allow for easy movement (such as behind the trigger)...

>_< You should have opened up the body so that you didn't paint the Screws or the Trigger/ Selector. =p

Meh... Didn't feel like it but...

I may paint some tigerstripe over the OD I painted on... Do you think I should?

I think you should try to paint real tree camo. That might blend a bit better in the area.

I would take some black paint and do a light tiger stripe diagonal.

Yeah, I would have taken out he trigger and such, as I personally like the contrast, and now the paint on the trigger is gonna begin to flake with each pull of trigger, but I too am lazy and know what its like to take shortcuts.

Nonetheless, nice p90 :D

lol I posted on the other one but here are the 3 links again...

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3 - Finished

Still gotta paint the other side

Oh yeah, and you can see that I started to scrape off the paint on the trigger and mag release only in the areas that get covered, so now the paint shouldn't flake as easily... I have all normal movement back now
