Bad thing about wood is that it will eventually degrade and rot faster than metal since it's biodegradeable, altho I guess metal rusts... hmm... and outdoor decks take on a lot of damage so it should actually last, but it will eventually rot (the same way I've fallen through my outdoor deck like 3x and my dad's too lazy to fix the rotting floorboards >.> Don't worry though its a half foot drop to the ground >.>)

Well, they treat the wood so that it is waterproof and slows the decay down considerably.

Yeah that's why I made the reference to outdoor decks, they're also treated for weather and 250lb grandmas trampling all over them... Although they're not so successful at the later >.> (She weakens the deck so that it cracks when I step on it o.0 Im like 150ish lbs I think... I dono exactly... Gotta lose some weight :/)

Well supposedly whats so great about AK's are that even if they are broken they can still shoot  (even tho we aren't talking about the real thing)

If you just have the gearbox left, you can put bb's in front of it to fire >.> So that would be 80% broken o.0

Which is why he said "Even though we aren't talking about the real thing" in really tiny font...

Anyways, AKs are nice, and I don't think the wood will rot on it anytime soon, I would imagine these companies pressure treat their wood...
