I had asked for some Custom Kalash love and indeed you guys delivered :D

Tough call between something like this and the King Arms Galil. Very tough call but I want one more Kalash variant and now I'm debating which one. At least the AMD65 uses a more common AK airsoft mag over the Galil.

Technically it is a .308 diameter bullet, just of the x39mm brass variety ;)

aye, but placing 7.62x39mm in the same category as .308 in most circles will get you the same treatment as mag/clip

They should be chambered for .308 imo.

Faden.... you got me on the mag/clip thing

Whats nuts is AIM surplus has some realsteel AMD65s on thier website. Of course with the recent election results they have had a huge surge in orders and they are out of stock but its crazy you could have spent less for the real deal and more on the airsoft variety  The conversion kit itself is actually the same price as the complete real deal. Thats really crazy.

Nuts right? Actually having one of each would be pretty cool, I liked that AIMs had the wood grips instead of the black ones that the conversion kit for airsoft came with. I wonder if one could obtain the real wood ones in a parts kit and use em on the airsoft version?

Anyhow. It was nice to see you guys do a custom AK.
