I HATE those kids.

Are you sure those kids weren't in ROTC? They are supposed to wear their issued uniforms on certain days. It's not an act of disrespect, quite the opposite.

Does anyone have tips for removing the trigger guard on the G4s? I want to put this strike industries cobra on, but can't figure out how to remove the old one.

Thanks in advance.

epic old thread,

but, pin punches and a hammer... nothing to it. maybe pliers if you need to pull the pin out.

It was still only a few posts down on the front page.

Alright I'll give it a shot. Didn't exactly have all the right tools the first time and didn't want to screw anything up.

Figured it out. Punch out the one in the back by the pistol grip. The front one is a nub on a spring, push it in and it releases. If you're putting the strike industries guards on, thread one of the set screws that comes with them into the hole and into the guard. Don't thread it too far in, it acts like half of a pin. stable as it needs to be.
