Here's wishing you the best of luck!

I don't exactly own a G4 yet, but I hope to purchase a G4 A1 in the near future, after my collar bone heals and I can get back to work. I'm so excited!!

Just don't forget that this^ is the guy who said:

BEST:
1)G&G
2)KWA (only for mag incompetence)
3)E1 (only red star AKs and G36 line)

WORST:
1)JG (except G36 series)
2)ICS

that's just my opinion. IT IS a really great gun, though.

Just received a G4-A1 DD RIS model. Performance is impressive right out of the box - 420 FPS & 17 BPS.

I swapped the inner barrel with a Madbull V2 6.03 tightbore. Also swapped the stock hop up for an Element airseal unit and installed a harder bucking. These mods raised velocity to 430 FPS (this is a plinking gun so no worries about field limits). Accuracy improved a bit as well.

I added a Magpul sling and front sling adapter, a KAC vertical grip, ladder rail covers, a Madbull Gemtech mock suppres0r, and a Primary Arms Micro Dot on a QD riser. (I have an AAC/Blackout flash hider on the M4 barrel extension - haven't decided which I like best at this point)

I have one more mod planned - I'll be swapping the upper/lower receiver with a G&G Top Tech metal receiver set.

Here it is (crappy cell phone pic - sorry):

Dang, you decked that thing out in no time lol. Looks nice, that "crappy" cell pic looks better than most of my pics with a 12mp camera..

Thanks! :) I processed the picture through Photoshop to clean it up a bit.

Here are a couple more pics (left/right) with the barrel extension and AAC Blackout F/H mounted (these taken with a proper camera). After handling it both ways I can say I definitely prefer the weight balance with this configuration to the mock suppress0r:

EDIT: I just transplanted everything on this gun to the metal G&G Top Tech GR16 receiver set sold by Airsoft GI. I definitely like the added weight as it feels more natural to me - closer to a real AR15 in weight. Also like that the torsional flex in the upper receiver is gone. The markings (trademarks) are also a bit more subtle than those on the stock G4 lower receiver. I'll try to get updated pictures posted soon.

Why are your flip up sights up while you have a red dot on the gun?
