High cap + 260 rounds + Gun firing for 15 seconds constant (1:47 - 2:02) = 17 rps (at the most, as that's if the mag is empty)... That's a fail in its self, since I know a stock G&G shoots faster than that on a 9.6v... So either G4s suck, or the video is a lying scam to cause kids to think that G4s are "LiPo ready".

The g4a3 has 8 rps on 7.4v 25c 2200 mah LiPo... they put a m120 in it and it makes it slow as hell.

That's... nothing amazing... I don't see why people drool over that :\

And yeah, an 11.1v 10c LiPo is inferior to a 7.4v 20c, or it should be.

Work = Vq (Voltage [volts] * Charge [coulombs])
(11.1v)(10c) = 111J
(7.4v)(20c) = 148J

Work = Force * Distance
Distance 11.1 = Distance 7.4
Work = Force

-edit-

Holy craps, that's on an 11.1v LiPo? I actually thought he was using a 9.6v NiMh at first, until I read the description :|

7.4v is 8.4v at full charge and 11.1v is 12.6v at full charge.

NEVER use a LiPo below 20C unless it's a 15c micro in an aep or it's for your laptop.

HHG wanted pictures, here they are for anyone else. I imported the .mp3 into Audacity, and got roughly 17.2 (Estimated) rps.

Dang, so they're testing whether or not 17 rps (Dang, a Crosman can run at 17 rps and be reliable) can kill a GB? No freaking doh... So it IS just a scam to get kids to buy G4s and screw them up with actual good LiPos.

AirsoftGI, you just lost all my respect for you.

What the heck do you call it, but a scam? Telling kids they can run 11.1v 30c LiPos in a gun that they tested with a 11.1v 10c?

A 11.1v 10c is weaker than a dang 9.6v NiMh... A stock SPORTLINE gun is NOT going to run on a actual GOOD LiPo and run at 17 rps. No, it's going to run in excess of 25 rps, and it will more than likely destroy the internals. G4s ARE sportlines, NOT prolines.

Honestly, Adog, if you wanna be in bed with ASGI, thinking that they're going to give you some sort of special award for sucking up to them, you do so, but don't come after me about it. Go play Mr. Politician-Wanna-Be somewhere other than directed at me.

EDIT: Removed language, sorta' blew up, but my main point remains the same.

EDIT2: OH NOEZ! Just realized I fed the neighborhood 13 year old troll! Watch me get a banhammer for dissing GI.

Why must they always be "kids"? What, adults can't buy a g4? No, I'm not sucking up to gi, this is GI's forum, if you wish to disrespect them, go somewhere else.

Because it's kids like you who think that LiPos are some kind of gearbox killer, and ASGI played off of that fact to make KIDS like you think it even more.

Guess what, genius?

My little TM runs on a LiPo, and we all KNOW how bad TM's gearboxes are, so why is it still running even though it is 7 years old (lawl, half your age...)
