Wishing bad things to happen to people doesn't help the situation. I do not want some sort of argument or anything just saying that wishing bad things happening to people isn't going to solve anything, but I do understand its a joke.
As for the topic of SB798 , I am contacting my local assemblyman who happens to be the speaker of the assembly and also writing him a letter. Lets hope for the best :)

Please learn how to follow the news on this. Currently it is only on the assembly floor, and still has quite a while before it goes before the governor.

Lol, it's alright. I feel like I handled it incorrectly. I just get tired of repeating stuff like this on the facebook page for opposing SB798. So I apologize if I seemed angry.

maybe SB798 wont pass simply because the country cant afford it? shift the focus of how this bill will raise spending for military etc and maybe we can get more traction, since the US is scrambling to not hit the debt cieling that is has technically already hit. :P

This really frustrates me. I was planning on getting back into airsoft as part of my personal get-my-fat-butt-into-better-shape plan, and then this felgercarb happens. It's even more frustrating for me, too, since I'd write out a letter to whomever in a skinny minute... if I had the least hope that it wouldn't get tossed as soon as they saw it was from Michigan. If this passes... well, I guess I'll have to ensure that I get what guns I want (Magpul MOE and KWA M226, if you were wondering) within the year, otherwise forget it.

*shakes fist in impotent rage*

And yes, I'm all too concerned that this bill will pass; to the general public, this is a "good" "anti-crime" bill, and that is something any politician will want to be able to wave around come re-election time. And there's a rule I have: Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.
