The thing about this bill is that not many people know about. Mainly just the real steel and airsoft industry. So common stupid people would hardly know it passed until it was covered on the news when (if is more like it) it does. So write letters and send e-mails as much as possible. Just so you know, the bill barely passed to the assembly. It made it only by a margin of 6. Quite a narrow margin.

Edit: Date: June 6, 2011

I called the California State Assembly today and it seems that a large amount of them don't support SB 798. Even the Democrats if you can believe it. This is good news for us guys, let's keep the pressure on them.

Owning and playing with an airsoft gun can be great fun, but it also comes with a certain degree of responsibility. It is important to realize that the game of airsoft is played with weapons, and while they are not actual firearms there are certain safety precautions that should always be taken into consideration.

Many players do not realize it, but there are laws associated with airsoft play and airsoft guns that every player should familiarize themselves with in order to avoid legal trouble - or worse. Who wants to get into trouble over a toy gun, anyway?
