 Maybe Tim's not so bad and just gets paid to be a diehard fanboy on GITV.

I wouldn't take Tim's recommendations seriously, at least now anyways. He's missing a lot of good guns. Plus he put Umarex guns on that list (which are OEM ARES), which also loses respectability points.

Also, to those who are still hating on G&G, I still have my SCAR from over a year ago. And yes, unlike some people on here, I airsoft quite frequently. I personally would never buy a G4 gun just because I don't need an M4. If you have any better ideas for a base gun, then I'm sure [email protected] is open to suggestions. Or better yet, start your own business since your seemingly 100x better design then the currently G4's seems so much better when what ASGI has to offer. ;)

And one of my TMs lasted over 6 years with HEAVY use, so  to you too. Any airsoft gun worth more than $100 should last for more than a year... My old Crosman lasted for 3... x9001

^Mhm, this too, my CYMA lasted for a year before I sold it to zolniena a few months back, and last he told me, it's still running perfectly strong, completely stock except the bucking.

My friends CYMA is going for 4 years strong with nothing ever, done to it. No silicone, no nothing. That being said my KJW Gas gun is running strong for almost 3 years, and I still take crap for owning it. I don' think my G&G will bust either. Seriously, you have a ton of people going against G&G, but they really are not a bad manufacturer. They will last you a long time if you take care of them properly.

Never said they were bad. Just for the issues they do have, they're not worth the price new, $200 or so would be a much better deal.

And if you noticed, I've always said their Armalite-style guns aren't such bad deals (exception being the sportline garbage), it's the other models that they like to wayyy overcharge for, especially since they use magnesium which isn't exactly the strongest metal, it's lightweight for a reason.

I'm almost certain my M14's receiver isn't Magnesium. It is nowhere near the texture of my m16's. Come to think of it, I think the only receivers they use Magnesium on is their Armalite series guns. :?
