I've had extensive experience with my friend's current-gen Classic Army SLR-105 Para, and I must say that it is the best performing AEG I've seen stock. The rate of fire is very impressive at about 20rps on an 8.4v 1100MaH NiMh battery. It is also extremely accurate. Not only are the internals good, but the steel and real wood externals are B-E-A-U-tiful and give it a nice heft. Bottom line: It's incredibly solid on the inside and outside. For those that want an AK variant but not willing to upgrade it, the Classic Army SLR-105 Para is for you.
I also own an early-release CA36C. The externals are miles above JG/Echo 1 and SRC. It's hefty and it just looks great. Other owners have said its externals far surpass that of even Tokyo Marui and KWA G36 AEGs. This also goes for performance. Many people will also agree that the CA36 series is the best of all G36 AEGs. However, I have not yet had the opportunity to use mine yet, so I haven't seen for myself how great this AEG actually is.
Yeah, I quit airsoft. No regrets.
