Since this is about KWA i thought id put it here. About four days ago the bearing under my spur gear failed, well, the my whol gearbox failed. Everything broke, the piston, the gears, the pinion on the motor, ah! So I need even more recommendations. What gearset, piston, 9mm bearings or even normal bushings, and motor should I get? my gun was previously shooting about 29bps at 400fps but at this point, I just want parts that are not going to break after 10k rounds. So I guess I need hi tourqe stuff right? I prolly just need to get a whole new tune up kit thing, any suggestions on that?

You don't need high torque stuff.

SHS or Element pinion for the motor, JG gear set, SHS piston (the clear blue, green, or full metal tooth w/ poly carb body)... as for bushings/bearings, that part is trial and error, since the bearing's "lip" is abnormally large on KWA AEGs, so I am unaware of what bearings are compatible.

And when you say the whole gearbox broke, does that include the shell? If so, nothing is compatible without heavy modification.

Someone once told me metel teeth on a piston is a no no because you dont want the piston being stronger than the gears. If the piston strips its a cheaper fix but the other way around is messy. Is this true? So I dont need hi tourqe stuff? I am only pulling the stock spring wich is I believe a m110, it shoots 400fps that all I know. And no the shell didn't break, just the gears, motor, piston and bearings. Need a new tappet plate to, should I get a metal one tappet plate? These chepo platis ones keep warping and bending.

There is no such thing as a metal tappet plate, sorry.

Metal teeth on the piston isn't bad unless you don't tune the gun properly.

A metal tappet wouldn't work. Tappet plates have to flex some.

Just found this on Kwausa regarding shimming in the 2GX gearboxes.
http://www.kwausa.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4613

Apparently you do have to shim the gears(minor at least; read thread for more info). The spur is barely rubbing against the bevel's bearing. I thought it was normal till I saw it myself in my Km4 cqb. It does not spin very well. I did try a Kwa 1st gen. spur in my 2gx shell one night, and it spins freely....Barely if any contact on the bevel gear's bearing. :?

Will I have any compatibility issues installing this systema drop in into my kwa sr-10? I am tired of my 2gx breaking on a 11.1v li-po, that piece of poo gearbox is definately a piece of poo. For a 9.6v, its a good gun, but not 11.1v. So, I have decided to go with the very best, Is it really as easy as slapping this baby into my lower receiver and calling it a wrap?

...That's not the very best. That is a $500 paperweight. A $50 JG gearbox will last longer on a 11.1v 20c LiPo than that will.

You can always get a JG gearbox off of GI. Just give it a reshim, fix compression, and AOE. You should be set.

Don't know for sure if the gearbox will fit in the Kwa body. But I did get a 2gx gearbox to fit in a JG m4 plastic lower receiver.
