Vfc m4 problems.

Postby jorge.garza » Sun Dec 11, 2011 12:16 am

I'm going to try and jam all the info I know about this gun in this thread to make this fast and easy.

When I first got the e series it worked perfectly and I had the good idea to go to my local shop and rewire the gun to the rear. My techs seemed to be dumb and leave the front wires in the gun as well as the back wires. This didn't seem to pose a problem to the workings of the gun either. The real problem started when I bought a magpul MOE grip and a G&P m120 motor. The MOE grip fit on really tight and did not let the motor to adjust much. The Gun still worked for about 1 to 2 months. Then the grip and wires got really hot when I shot it and it started to produce smells as if it was burning. Then the trigger delay was 1 to 2 seconds every shot and sometimes it wouldn't even fire. After that the gun stopped firing completely.

What do you recommend I do?

you should post this question here: viewforum.php?f=12
Armory: Magpuled FMG4-1 (http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=7091)
Gear: Condor MOPC and IAS

Airsoft: Add Recoil
Real Steel: Reduce Recoil
Funny how this world works :)

I think a wire or two got pinched and they're connecting and shorting the batter. I would have the gun rewired and make sure the wires in the grip are routed correctly. This is important because of how its seats the motor. Make sure both of the wires go to the "rear" of the grip, towards the stock, and route the positive wire "over" the motor to the positive terminal. If you need more help or pictures I could upload some.
