t3h 3vil h4m4achi (cant believe i typed that) allows me to jump around into servers easier with vnc and pcaw

Yeah, but does that beat driving 100 miles away to someone's office, sticking a floppy disk into their computer, putting some files on it, brining it back to your office, sticking in the floppy, waiting 5 hours for it to load, realize that you forgot someone, driving all the way back to get the missing file, going to your office again and loading a spreadsheet that says you are working fast enough?

I think that's an absolute yes.

And even if he HAD to do the whole 100 miles traveling thing, he'd be using either a DVD, CD, or some harddrive of some sort. He'd also probably do some sort of hacks *ahem MODULES ahem* to speed up the loading time to be way less than 5 hours.

Eh, works gets done. Can't complain.

in the case of speeding things up for file transfer, yes the best word is HACK

in terms of speeding up the butt slow program my company makes, thats called a module or script, it tells the program to SKIP the files that I know AREN'T there and to stop WASTING resources looking for them :lol:

Wow zenmic thats pretty cool, how much do one of those palm computer things cost? And is it touchscreen or do you use a mouse (I've never seen one in person before :P )
